Guys,
I am after a wii that can use wiiflow to play all the retro games. Be great to have it all set up! especially want, NES,Sega, Sega CD, Genesis, PSX, SNES and N64... Email me if you can help.

**UPDATE**** A simple wii would be fine and I can soft mod it!!.. would prefer cheaper end price

I have a hard modded and soft modded wii available in PAL

 

Easiest thing to do yourself, are you that lazy

I would need NTSC.

I am not lazy, just have for kids under 5, work full time shift work, and renovating a house, so its pretty hectic.

If its not worth it to buy one loaded already I will do it myself I guess....

It's not worth buying one softmodded. The process isn't long and there's many easy to follow guides out there, you might need 20 minutes or so of free time... maybe less.

Buy your kids something extra with the money you'll save

Yes I remember softmodding my old one... your right. Now what should I pay for a Wii? whats fair? I checked kijji and they are 60$plus..others are higher,I find more are 100$ or so.

Now for hard drive space, Can I buy a external HD ? Guess I should change topic to wanted cheap wii.

Up to $60 is alright, US anyway. White Wii's aren't worth much... Gamestop had $40 for a black friday offer and some pawn shops ask similar.

If I was getting a second hand one I'd try and get one that hasn't been softmodded. Also, I would prefer it to be the model where you can install bootmii to boot2 and that it can read DVDRs

No idea what boot miii and boot 2 is.. no idea to tell if it will read dvdd.. I am hoping someone will have one for sale.....on here.

 

I have one that is currently in a chrome case. It smells like smoke the dvd drive doesn't work, but it does boot, come with cords and has allready been soft modded. Looking for like $25 shipped in the USA. Down side is I can't accept paypal atm so USPS Money orders are the only way I can accept payment for now.

 

I think target is going to sell them cheap this friday plus 3ds xl again

 

Check local pawn shops, Wiis don't go for very much. $40-$60 would be the range to look at, and also to address your HDD question: You can use an external Hard Disk but you need to have it formatted correctly, and use a PC to load games or use the Wii to install games from the DVD drive.

 

How do you know target will have them? Also the wife is asking me to wait but if its on the cheap I don't see it being issue.
