I have some loose units I need power for.. The generics on ebay are all 9v, it needs 10v.

    Any leads?

It should be fine with 9V, get one in RadioShack or similar and try.

Yeah I have my Atari 2600 running on 8.5V wehn it calls for 9V. It should be fine as long as the mA rating is close.

Radioshack used to or may still sell a 10V Ac Adapter intended for the SNES. It even had many tips so you could use it on a US SNES or a Japanese SFC. That's what I use for my SFC.

Radio Shack did claer them out a few years back (I got one for $4) so I doubt if they still carry them. Not sure why the American SNES says 10V, but you can use a 9V 1amp supply fine as the voltage regulator in the machine can accept quite a range of voltage.

Anything over 8.2V is fine. 9V is actually better than 10V because it saves you up to 255mW of dissipated power.

Well I need them cheap so I can sell loose units and make a profit.
They want $7 each on ebay.

Anyone have a lead on game accessory wholesaler?
