Hi people. I am currently looking for a mp3 player for my kid sister. She just wants something to look cool with. Anyway it can be new or old dosent matter but I would like at least 128+ megs. She really wants something with a screen and mentioned the ipod a couple of times but those are a bit pricey.

Anyway list anything you have even if its something new like a 4gb one and let me know what kind of money you want for it. Thanks and I appricate any responses!

You can get Virgin Players that are 5GB off ebay for like 40$ or less like I did. Mine lasted about 2 years, but eventually the HD died. I did however use it every day for at least 2 hours or more.

Ive been shopping around at stores and online and found some stuff, I was just seeing if anyone here had a spare one or something that they might want to part with. Thanks for the idea though, I will look into it.

Actually i've got an iRiver u10 that I was getting ready to post on ebay later tonight/tommorow. Its 1gb (solid state of course) and only slightly used. I'll take $100 shipped for it. Just thought I would throw that out there in case you were interested.

EDIT: Also are you open to any trades? I have games, computer hardware/software, paintball guns, just about anything guys are into lol. Also is the mp3 player complete with box, remote and all the cords and crap? Thanks!

Sure, I don't have either a camera or the unit on me right now but here are 2 pics (first one not mine, second one is) pic1, pic2. Let me know if you need more. Its kind of a pain since it's so small and shiny.

Whats included is the actual unit, USB cable (used for charging and transfer), ear bud headphones, neoprene case, manuals, and installation cd; basically everything from when I originally bought it (brand new). I never bought the remote or cradle so those aren't in there and the original packaging was that crappy slice-your-fingers-open shrinktype plastic that most small electronics come in these days so thats not included either.

Sure I'll consider trades, either partial or full. If you don't mind briefly listing what you've got, either on here or through PM, I'll be glad to take a look at it.

    PM replied too.

FYI, while its not a bad price for the zen, I see them pop up on local classifieds fairly often for around 80-150 used depending on spec. I've toyed with them and have to say it was about on the last of my list in choices of players, but to each his own. If anyone wants a zen but doesn't want to support "the machine", just check your local online classifieds.

Apple sells refurbished iPods on their website for $180 (30 gig). Mine still works fine so far, but I understand that plenty of people hate iPods for whatever reason, so take that how you will.

Creative Zen Nano's are awesome for the price. I paid $70 for a 1 gig player, and although I don't use it much since I have an iPod now, it really is a fantastic player for the money.
