    ....if you can't get a pal game, and really need to test if its working you could disable the cic chip and test with a NTSC game.....not perfect, but at least you could make sure the console works :p

    Just did this and the console works great.

    On some games you can't really tell it's a bit slowed down but on Zelda I could definitely tell.
