I've been wanting to get into Atari lately and the 8 bit line seems like the perfect place to start. If anyone has a 800xl or 600xl they'd want to sell, let me know. Those are the two models I'd want, not interested original 400/800 or XE series.

I would need the power supply to go with it. I don't need any joysticks, I already have some. I don't need a floppy or tape drive atm, I just want to play cart games for now.

I take it the 800xl can use AV cables and the 600xl is RF only?

I'm in New York in case anyone needs to know.

Send me a pm if anyone wants to help me out. Thanks.

IIRC the 800xl has rf out and monitor out. I never knew what the monitor out for was until now, with a quick google search:

    2) Monitor port

A proprietary 5-pin DIN Monitor port, which along with the audio signal
    actually provides two video signals:

    a) Composite video

    b) Y/C Video, also known as S-Video:
separate composite luminance (Y) and chrominance (C) signals

    Do you want one CIB?

If yes, there is one for sell at a local store in the Netherlands, for around 120 USD, I can buy it for you and ship it to New York but I think shipping could be around 40~50 usd ..

That would be the wrong voltage, and prohibitively expensive to ship. Considering Atari are American, they'll be plentiful over there.

Talking of which, B & C ComputerVisions / Best Electronics probably have some brand new systems, as well as used.
