WTB: Chipped Gamecube.

I got a question. Do you know if you can interchange DOL-101 DVD drives with DOL-001?

 

I am the one who sold the chip. This is the first time in over 30 I have sold that this has happened. If it did break I really doubt that bubble wrap would have protected it from whatever or whoever broke it in the first place.
As stated Museman. A simple picture of this broken chip would have resulted in a full refund for you but you decided to throw it out and then message me.

 

Well, I was trying to leave you anonymous. And like I sent you in a PM (which I wish it would have remained), I don't blame you for it happening. And if I have to repeat it again, (and if you want me to do so publicly) I do believe this is was a rare occasion and it was mostly USPS fault. I've received at least 3 other modchips before, and all have been in envelopes encased in bubble wrap. It just so happens that the one time I receive a modchip in a regular envelope, it comes in two pieces.

I wouldn't go as far and say the bubble wrap wouldn't of helped. I guess we cant really tell, but I would have appreciated it (especially internationally). As for the chip only being 10 bucks, I didn't really care. But if it is such a big deal, I'll go diving into the bottom of my trash bag, grab the thing myself, and take a picture for everyone to see. Anything else about this chip, just PM me.

Yes actually. I pulled the optical assembly from an indigo DOL-001 and dropped it into a silver DOL-101.

FWIW I had installed a Duo Q onto that drive and not a XenoGC. Use the same installation methods IIRC.
