WTB Chipped/modded PS One or PS2

Hi guys, was recommended to visit here via a neogaf user. Looking to start collecting PSone games, and as a mostly PAL user, i'll be missing out on several classics.

Ideally I would like a modified PS2 that can boot PAL/NTSC/MTSC-J PSone games (added bonus bieng it will also boot PS2 games from all over too!

I am based in the UK and ideally would like to buy from a UK seller to. If anyone can help, or point me in the right direction, i'd be really thankful!

I am about to list 2 more ps2's, but I also have a couple of PS1's you might be interested in (and much cheaper) if you just want to play PS1 games

 

Great stuff, i'll keep an eye on your thread, PS2 is my preferred as it will open up NTSC PS2 games to me as well

Can you just confirm the modification on your PS2 will allow me to play retail NTSC games of both PSone and PS2 variety?

 

Well, I have 3 ps2's

1 aqua that has a few scratches, so it will go a little cheaper
1 black ps2, just (like as in the moment you posted this thread) had a new laser fitted, I am just testing and putting it back together now.
1 black ps2, missing a couple of screws and rubber feet - which I have on order and will be listed when they arrive.

I should be listing the first 2 within an hour I would imagine.

 

Cool, as mentioned, if this will allow me to play NTSC/Pal PS1 and PS2 games then i'll happily take the black one once testing has been completed.
