WTB: Demo Demo PlayStation Volumes

Demo Demo was a series of (you guessed it) PlayStation demo discs distributed in Japan through the PlayStation Club. Similar to the Play Play line, Demo Demo started up in late 1994 (right when the PlayStation hit Japan) and lasted for a few years. It's hard to find detailed information on Demo Demo releases, but this site has some helpful images.

I'm looking for the earlier Demo Demo volumes; anything from the first disk to volume 7. If anyone has them (or just some more information on them), please shoot me a PM or reply here.

 

You got something mixed up here. As the site says, Demo Demo were sent to game stores while Pure Pure (Play Play) were distributed to PS Club members. Thus Demo Demo discs are more difficult to get hold of.

On a side note, in the PS2 era stores also got Miru Miru ("See See") discs (DVDs with game trailers).

 

Thanks for clearing that up. So were Demo Demo discs ever sold to the public, or were they strictly for store displays? I assumed they were actually available at retail, because the discs have labels and covers that look like something intended for customers.
