WTB Dreamcast Consoles in UK (on holiday, I am from NL)

    Hi,
    I am Christiaan from the Netherlands. I want 1 or more "back-up"Dreamcast consoles if mine stops to function. In the Netherlands, DC consoles, without games and just an controller go for 50-60 euro's. I see on ebay.co.uk, that the UK price is around 5-10 GBP! Royal mail is not cheap and shipping is 35 gbp. So, during our vacation, mid august in Scotland (edinburgh, loch lomond and more to the north), I hope to score 1 or 2 DC consoles in a local shop.
    Any tips, where to go? (Does Cex sell them??)

    You're very unlikely to find a Dreamcast in CEX. In fact, I wouldn't bother going in that shop at all - terrible place nowadays!

    You'll have to find a local independent video game shop for Dreamcasts - although you could try picking up a copy of the Freeads and looking in there... if you have the means to get to the seller's house, of course! Or get hold of the local paper and find out if there are any boot fairs on (likely in August) - you might get lucky there. Maybe if you're extremely lucky, a charity shop - but most don't sell electricals.
