Sorry, 550$ is crazy low. Not sure how much they are 'worth' these days, but it's worth a lot more to me!

Yeah, It is very rare these days,

For an unboxed one 1,400 it is more than reasonable (check the details, there were even problems with the plastic)

For a Boxed one the cost is obviously lot higher


When I bought mine I paid around $2,500 for a New one, and would not let it go for less for sure

I cant believe the prices on these units now! I bought one like 4 years ago for close to 500 bucks. I sold it 6 months later for 600 and I thought that was crazy money. Even 2 years ago the prices were way under 1000 USD on eBay. When did they get crazy like this!!!!!

 

When the younger generations who lived this console as kids (not mine) feel a stronger need to repossess one of them.

I think it is like for me when I wanted to have absolutely (around my 20's) a new Vic 20, due to the fact it had been my first home computer in the first 80's,

That's exactly what I was thinking!

I remember Divers units going for around $350 - $500 going back even further, say six or seven years ago. I remember Partners units going for $200.

What gets me is do people actually pay these new super high prices? Whenever I randomly check on eBay (say once every six months... ) there they are, Biohazard Stars (blue), Partners, Mazoira's... and half of them are from the same seller in France who just doesn't seem to be able to sell them - and this seems to be going on for years.

I think the prices are going up - but I really don't think anyone is actually buying them - I just don't see any proof of sales... it's the same ones, time and time again up for sale... from the same sellers.
