WTB: Dreamcast HKT-01 katana dev kit

It all depends on when and where you get it. Three of these units were sold a few weeks back here in the marketplace, and they went for $350US a piece, and it took a couple of weeks to sell all three I believe. Around $350 was the going rate a few years back, obviously some people pay more, and some lucky people pay less.

I don't believe these units are super duper rare, it seemed like there were half a dozen going on ebay at any given time just a few years back. I'm sure dozens of collectors on this very board have a few sitting around. I expect a lot of collectors who try and turn a profit are stockpiling these units until people start finding them harder to get, then they'll slowly try and sell them one at a time for a big profit. The reason you're probably not having any offers right now is a lot of people are probably hoping to sit on them until they get more expensive.

 

Yeah I had a feeling that they weren't really going for that much, that's why I didn't bother bidding because knowing my luck I'd sell a kidney to pay for it and then next week someone will probably sell one on here for half the price. Suppose I'll just have to be patient on here and hopefully get good contacts one day for this sorta thing, however you do that
