WTB: Dreamcast Official Case / Top Cover / Shell - Any Color

I'm on the hunt for any of the colored Dreamcast Official Cases (the ones that have "SEGA" printed on them). Preferably Crystal Black, or Crystal Blue but I'm not picky enough not to want just those. Clear, yellow or Solid black work too!

Yes I know they're hard to find, yes I know they're probably expensive when I do find one. My expectations have been set.

Found a crystal black one on ebay a couple weeks ago that came with a console (FINALLY!!). Lost one on ebay for a crystal blue one that got out of my price range. Still wanting a crystal blue one if anyone has any info.

 

I've got a plain white shell, though that's probably not what you're after

 

If it's an Official Sega branded shell then i'm interested but if it's the generic 3rd party one then i'll say "thanks, but no thanks" :smile-new:

 

Yep! It's an official Sega one. The bottom half is a bit yellowed though. What on earth are you doing with all these shells, BTW? :suspicion:

 

Eh, might come looking for this at some point. I'm going to focus on the rare ones for now.

To answer your question: I'm collecting dreamcast and dreamcast related items for my own personal enjoyment. I have a couple boring/bland va0 models that deserve a proper shell.

I have one that's almost complete (Official Crystal Black shell, sega sports bottom, normal white controller plate with matching power and open buttons and soon to have official black bba adapter). Just simple projects to keep myself busy these days.

 

Bump. Don't need crystal black anymore. Blue, yellow, solid black or clear.

 

think you are after Sega Direct Dreamcast case which was just the top section and came in various different variety inc. leopard pattern, camouflage, wood grain, and many more. Try to collect them in the box as NIB if you can.

 

Really - they had leopard and camouflage etc for the console cases? And not just for controllers? I've never seen these ever.

I'm sure you are right. Those fancy patterns were for controllers/VMU only~
for the case I still think there were quite few - not so funky as the Leopard pattern though..

I have one of these official SEGA yellow crystal shell new and unused (no box).
I will be willing to trade it for a PAL game that i don't have (only Moho, Evolution 2 or Samba de Amigo).
