WTB: early EURO/AUS Megadrive model 1, no license warning screen

It's simple to identify! I have a very specific request. I'm after the original revision PAL Mega Drive. Model one, EXT port, without "produced or licensed..." startup notice.


I do not want Japanese, Genesis, Asian PAL, Mega Drive 2, or other versions. Thanks. :smile-new:

Hmm. I'd be surprised if above $50 before shipping.

I don't know what price effect no license screen has. While ordinary pal megadrives are under $10 within parts of Europe... I'm not in Europe (making it much rarer from my relative point of view), and this revision is not ordinary

 

My thoughts exactly. If you're offering $50 + shipping, it's a deal.

 

I'll have to think about that. I'm already aware it's only worth doing if I can also justify pal mega cd and 32x. Going halfway in the pal venture is a waste of money.
