WTB [EU]: Pre-release versions of Wipeout HD

I am a Wipeout collector since way back and now possess the ability to play debug games and pre-releases. My collection includes all releases for all regions and all platforms, promos, demos soundtracks and presskits. The pre-release of Wipeout HD is of great interest to me since the game got delayed when it failed an epilepsy test. The final version of the game had toned down graphics in the zone mode so it would be great to play the zone mode in its original appearance. The $250 offer still stands. Does anyone know anything about these preview discs? Maybe someone has sold or traded these? Any info appreciated.

 

Is there actually a known disc for a build in that range?
I know of the presskit which is disc+usb key, but i'd have figured stuff that predates the presskit might be in digital form only?

 

Yes there is. At least one that I am certain of. It is dated March 2008. A few months later the epilepsy test failed and zone mode was changed. This happened before the distribution of the press kit. Therefore, the press kit contains the final version of the game, released on the 25th of september 2008.

 

interesting- I'd love to see the game data on either something like that or even the presskit (haven't see a dump and i always miss them when they go up for sale)

 

Bump! I now own the "March 2008" disc and even though that was a pretty fantastic Zone ride I now want MORE!!! I've seen earlier versions of the game with a completely different ship design for the Qirex ship. This was in November 2007. VERY early version of the game was shown on TGS 2007. Any preview discs out there from this period will receive good payment! Also, discs even closer to the epilepsy failure in June 2008 are of great interest as well and will be awarded with good $$$. Bump! Now more interested in previews closer to the epilepsy failure in June 2008. Is there a preview from May 2008? I think I saw pictures from the course Sol 2 in spring 2008 and Sol 2 is not included on the March 2008 disc so... interesting. PM me if you have ANY info about previews of Wipeout HD (not the review in the metallic box, that's just final build). Inbox cleaned up so I can receive PM:s now. Sorry for that defor.
