I need someone to hopefully, making me a few carts of unreleased games. IE: put the existing rom on an SF cart with fake label.

I need them for the following:

    Starfox Weekends
    Starfox 2
and most importantly, BS F-Zero 2

I know these are done, but I don't know how much they're worth. We can talk price if you're able to make them.

    Thanks everyone.

It'll be eaiser to find someone if you can supply the donor carts.

Sounds good. Is there anyway you could do a F-Zero 2.. it's the one really really want. It was a Satellaview download, but I know putting the mod (which is out there) on a cart is possible. Up to the task? Either way, please PM me about Starfox 2.

I'm not getting it from him anyway. And if you're against it, Assembler, you need to check out the Nintendo forum sometime. It's not illegal, they are unreleased roms that they never took money for.

didn't realize that sorry Assembler, If you want by all means edit out whatever needed in my original post :)

    Edit to add*
I did quickly look over the rules before posting my first post in this thread but didn't think reproductions were of limit's for cart based systems?
    http://www.assemblergames.com/forums/showthread.php?t=4888

or is this in regards to the lack of posts? I was under the impression that I wouldn't be able to make a FS, or Auction here selling my items and not replying to a WTB thread, again sorry for the misunderstanding on my part :)

legality aside, i like your labels and the fact that the serial says repro and all, but tastefully done... better than fueling the pirate unreleased cart market too much...

I think what assembler's trying to say is that releasing data is one thing.. a grey area at that... but selling carts to people of them is another altogether...

eeprom burners are findable.. for pretty cheap these days, and usb ones even...

Some call them reproductions, some call them fakes.

The opportunity to profit from something not your own..
it should be free or done sparingly.

$95 to me seems a bit high priced.
    Rom - free
    Eprom - $12
    Sacrifice cart - $6.00-12.00

Let me put it to you this way, if I made "repro" metal slug 1 carts for mvs and sold them on ebay, they wouldn't be treated so charitably...

If it makes you feel better, Assembler, I got mine for a lot cheaper :). I'm doing a custom label on mine that doesn't look like a real cart, so it would never be thought of as the real deal, promise. It's for my personal enjoyment and that's it. :)

Oh I agree whole heartedly that if it was any other game that uses any other sort of donor cart minus say Star Ocean that yes $95 is very high but because the donor cart needed for this game is all surface mounted and the chip that you use for this reproduction if you don't use a flash chip is not surface mounted (27C080) that it requires a whole lot more stuff done to it. including ALOT more time in labour
also their is the cost of a new battery holder and new battery added onto that so their is another $7 or $8
here is the link that I shows some more images of the inside and a box I made for it
    http://www.nintendoage.com/forum/messageview.cfm?catid=6&threadid=17611

If you want to make one for yourself use a Stunt Race FX donor because it has a battery for Highscore saves and has the revised version of the Super FX chip :)
if you check out Oct 2009's E-zine from Nintendo Age I also made a write up showing how to make reproductions like Bobby's world or any other sort of game that works off of one 27c080 eprom eg nightmare busters, shadow of the beast, BS kirby's pinball the same article could be used for the starfox 2 reproduction but instead of wiring it direct you have to run new traces to the old maskrom on the donor cart

again I'm just posting this for informational purposes though and if by doing that it violates any of your rules the by all means edit/delete whatever is infringing upon them :)

a game like bobby's world should only run around 30 ish dollars to buy from someone because its the simplest of repro's to make for the SNES

    Edit to add*
I made that article for that E-zine because at the time their was a website by the name of http://www.snesreproductions.com/ which was trying to pass off bobby's worlds and nightmare busters for over $100 plus shippingI felt a little more information on the subject was needed :)

    Edit a 3rd time.
you could also pick up an SNES powerpak from http://www.retrousb.com/index.php?cPath=24 for $135.00 and play a whole whack of stuff on it minus a few like games that use the super FX chip.

Then again if no one is willin to offer to do it for cheaper, it allows people to charge this price if you really want it. This no different than any other game, it's just supply and demand. Street Fighter Zero 3 on satin could be worth 100 dollars to someone an only 5 to someone else.
