Are the Nintendo FDS and Sharp Famicom Twin belts the same as each other?

    talk to this guy:

    www.geocities.co.jp/Stylish/8684/index2.html

this guy can get almost anything fds related. from him alone, i ordered a new fds, a replacement belt, and about 40 (legit) games

one word of advice, the belt replacement is a big pain in the ass.

Hmm thanks, forgot about famicom_jp. I'd love to get a new FDS but ack, pricey.

Yeah replacing a FDS belt is a little tedious but it's absolutely nothing compared to disassembling the actual drive mechanism or restoring logic to the controller IC.

    Yes

actually, I bought a separate belt separate for about 10 bucks and when I screwed mine up, I ordered a new one, and kept the belt just in case
