    Out of curiosity, does anyone on the board offer eprom flashing services? I'd like to have some flashed for use in an NES repro of my nyan cat rom, preferably if you live in the US simply for shipping convenience sake.

    let me know

    Me, but UK based.

    No doubt someone from the US is capable, but I'm here if not.

    how much do the necessary chips cost, I'm likely going to use the repropak so I'd need 27C010's and 27C256's according to their site

    Cheapest I can find them in smaller amounts is - http://futurlec.com/ICEPROM.shtml

    Plus shipping:

    I could get them cheaper with my china chip order, but that isnt due for another month or so.

    I got some flashed off ebay from china, you just send the hex and they program them for you and put a sticker on them.

    Think for 2 with programming and shipping it was £8 or so.

    I have order from here before, not very reliable. Item show IN STOCK, but are not. My order took about two month to get to me and it was not complete. No real customer service, i wouldn't bother ordering from there again.

    I've ordered from their plenty of times and had no issues (yet at least). I use them regularly for the SMD to dip convertors.

    Also bought 100 atmels (AT90USB162?) and got them in 4 days.

    Cant fault them from my experiences so far.

    I'm about to purchase a programmer shortly (next month hopefully) and will be able to provide pre-programmed chips. Have a handful of EPROMs on hand but not much yet unless you want a region free SegaCD.

    I'd check out Digi-Key's prices. Usually they're not half bad and can also offer programming services. At the very least they do PICs.
