WTB: Gameboy phat (the 80s one)

I would like to buy a Gameboy. A REAL Gameboy. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gameboy)
No pockets, no lights, no advances. :fresh:

I am looking to spend around $10 USD on this, plus whatever shiping you chose to impose.
Or, make an offer. I don't have much wiggle room in my price, but there is some. I used to have one when I was younger and still miss Super Mario Land 2.

 

The color does have a nicer screen, anything that scrolls on a gameboy looks really horrible with horrible LCD smearing where it looks nice on the color. I do have a unboxed gameboy in good condition for $10 but the postage from japan would probably kill you.

 

I love the GB Phat for no other reason than the awesome clean crisp sound. no other gameboys sounded as good as the original IMHO.

 

This is so true. I always preferred the phat one, maybe because he was first of his kind

 

anyone got the clear one or black with pink text?

 

There's a black one on eBay right now. It was going to too much (5USD last I checked) so I deleted it from my ebay.

 

I have one (original 1989 model, gray casing).
Only negative is that the plastic screen cover has a vertical crack in it. That can be replaced easily though. Looks and works great though.
