I am after any modchip for the Nintendo Gamecube that is not DuoQ or XenoGC. Specifically, I'm after a 1st generation (IPL replacement) modchip. It can be second hand, but working of course at the time of removal. I'll even go as far as buying the console it is in if you're too lazy/busy to remove it.

Which means I'm after one of the following:
    Qoob Pro
    Qoob SX
    Viper GC
    Viper GC Extreme

The modchips I seek are for the last generation, and are becoming very hard to come by from what I've noticed with an 1 hour of google searching leading only to stale modchip websites which haven't had updates for the last 3-4 years.

If it turns out no one has any, could you please recommend a website which you know might still have them?

    Thanks,
    emu_kidid

I've tried to email them to see if they're still in stock but I haven't got a reply yet (this is from weeks ago)..

I guess I will take the plundge and just order one.

fusion, is it new? is it the viperGC or Extreme?
(I remember back in the day getting one for free to develop with but it's now long gone!)

I always used an Action Replay to run burnt stuff on the GC. One of my mates has a QoobSX though on his purple cube. Good modchip. What's wrong with the later ones?

It's just not the same, for development it's best to skip the gamecube bootup sequence. I have a Qoob Pro but it's slowly dying on me, and my other cube with the XenoGC is just too frustrating having to sit through the startup sequence every time i want to load up code to test.
