    As per thread title - willing to pay reasonable prices but not crazy ebay rates!

    Nobody sane will sell for less than eBay rates in my experience and I sure wouldn't sell mine for anything less either.

    I sold one for way less than ebay prices,if your patient you should be able to find one for a decent price.

    follow the European Ebay sites, sometimes they sell the converted ones(to Scart) very cheap

    What is the point of converting GC component cable to SCART? It'd cheaper to buy PAL GC + SCART passive cable :)

    VGA converted maybe?

    yup, it is a crime to butcher a perfectly working GC component cable for RGB SCART. though i happen to see some pictures both with a) RGB SCART converted from component b) PAL RGB SCART gamecube cable. option a had a better picture, but still not worth it imho.

    But NTSC RGB looks very bad on that picture. Banding on Mario hat is very noticeable.

    Edit: GC vs Wii on that site is dubious too because camera lenses clearly had different focus on first picture.

    only choice for a guy who owns an imported NTSC console and living in Europe.... you know old TVs here don't have component...
