Hi, does anyone have or know anywhere that sells curtains that completely block the sun from coming in? I have seen them on television, and they called them "gamer curtains." Thank you.

I'm lucky in that my gaming room has about half a dozen 30ft. cedar trees in front of the window.. :smt023 but I know that home depot (at least the one here) has "NiteBlinds" that hug the sides of the windows and block most all light...hope that helps

I'm lucky, I have Velux windows in my room - totally block out light ;-)

The obvious answer is don't put yer TV where it'll reflect, or play at night! haha

But seriously, you could just get a nice curtain liner, so you don't have poofy thin curtains. Or maybe get hold of an old theatre curtain and cut it to size, or the material used for that. I think they are safety curtains, you're bound to be able to get the material from a theatrical supplier.

    Hmm, this could be it.

    Australian supplier

    Or try a curtain specialist

Or, just look for a good theatrical supplier e.g. www.mainstage.com

My neighbor has an annoying security light so I ended up taping tinfoil to my bedroom windows. Not a problem anymore.

I use venecian blinds myself. If the sun's facing my window directly I'll get some sunlight on the ceiling, but besides that they're pretty good. Metal ones will be even better than my crappy wood ones. And no more having to wash curtains for me!
