WTB: GBA SP 101

I am looking for an AGS-101 and I'm hoping somebody can "hook me up", as it were. I don't care what color it is, it just has to be the backlit model. Post/PM the condition and asking price and I'll get back to you as soon as I can. I live in the US and am willing to pay the going rate for these, I would just rather deal with somebody on here rather than eBay. Thanks

 

i have an sp which lights up (its my sons) how do you know if its is back lit or otherwise? the one i have doesnt have a sticker on it

 

press the button for the light in the middle of the thing. If it toggles between turning the light on or turning the light right off it's an original front lit model. If it toggles between being light up dim and brighter than it's a newer back-lit model. You can't turn the light off on the back-lit model.

back-lit pal models are rather rare, while it supposedly did not reach japan. i don't know about china's ique gba for sure.

 

You can always check eBay for the "pearl pink" gba. Those are always the cheapest back-lit models. Most people listing them don't seem to know (or care) that they are back lit. I picked one up a few months ago for around 15.00 plus shipping then swapped out the case with a silver gba sp. You have do a complete swap because the mobo's are not interchangeable.
