I'm looking to see if any of you have an SD Adaptor for the gamecube so that I can use my SD memory card instead of the 4mb cards. PM me with info.

    Thanks.

    I only pay via Paypal.

Just checking. but you are aware that you can't use it as a regular memory card arent you? Unless theres some homebrew application i havent been informed about.

Only 2 games are compatable with it (doubutsu no mori e+ & pokemon channel)

What do you mean? I cannot use it as a regular memory card? I have a 128mb SD card. I'd like to use it to save my games to, not to transfer saves from PC to GC or run homebrew. Just a simple memory card.

    What are you saying?

It can't be used as a regular gamecube memory card as the games had to be programmed to use it.

In other words if you plug it into your gamecube & go to the memory card screen it won't appear as a memory card.

That's right. Only specifically designed software can use the SD card adapter. Generally it was for saving pictures/snapshots of games. But it's primary use would be GC homebrew. And I don't think there is a GC application that transfers saves between an SD card and regular memory card.

Why not just buy a large GC card? Nintendo made a 1000 something block card.

The only game I know of that supports the SD adapter is Animal Crossing (I only know this as when I picked up my copy it was a pack in with the disc).

There may have been a few more that supported it across the pond. They are both right that the game had to specifically have support for it. Your can't use it as a regular memory card but its very handy for running homebrew.

Only found 2 games that use it, pokemon channel & doubutsu no mori e+. More of an oddity to collect than anything useful.

there are however 3rd party sd-memorycard-adapters that DO work with regular games.
