    WTB: PSP 3000

    Hello everyone.

I'm looking for a working PSP 3000 with the latest firmware in great to excellent condition.

    PayPal ready.

I'm located in the United States.

If anyone knows of a way to use a SanDisk Ultra 32GiB SDHC (not MicroSDHC) to Memory Stick Pro DUO, please let me know!

Not sure why you're specifying a hacked one, since getting a CFW on any PSP is as easy as putting the update file on a memory stick and pressing 'Install'... And I don't think there is any way to use a full size SD card in a PSP, unless there's an adapter that hangs out the side of the console? It wouldn't fit otherwise. You could buy two 16gb microSD cards and an adapter for maybe $25 total :p

16gb or 32gb microSD cards are reasonable.

two 64gb is a luxury option that unfortunately costs more per gb

Yes.... I've seen at least one confirmation that it works.

But like Lum said....it's quite the expensive option...for now that is.

I'm using 32gb atm, I have heard conflicting reports about PSP supporting more that. Also I'm quite sure you can't "install" CFW on a PSP3000 but you can boot off it from the memory stick.

You can have the CFW launcher on the memory stick and need to run it every time you reboot the PSP (much less of an issue if you use sleep mode most of the time), and it takes maybe a few seconds longer than having it permanently installed. Otherwise, if the PSP is on OFW 6.20 or lower, or if you downgrade it to that, it can be permanently installed on most models.

You can get CFW on a 3000. But it is not permanent. And will only stay in RAM as long as the system isn't completely powered off.

Honestly you are better off with a 2000 or a GO.

(The latter comes with 16GB of built in memory)

Memory Stick Pro duo's are still a bit expensive(Although no where NEAR as expensive as they were around launch. A 1GB was 150$ back then.)

You can use a Micro SD to Pro-duo adapter too

    Thanks for all the info.

I wouldn't mind having an Ultra SDHC to MicroSDHC extension cable to Pro Duo adapter. Does such a thing exist?
