WTB: HP/Compaq Battery 319411-001 for a Presario 2100

I've been looking for one for awhile, and they have always been a bit expensive (Many ebay auctions want 20-30, plus 20-30 for shipping, which is outrageous for the size and weight of the battery). Anywho, I need it for my laptop since the old one does not hold a charge. I'm looking to pay around 20-25 plus shipping for it, if possible. Also willing to either do paypal or a check/money order. PM if you have one.

HP/Compaq are recalling batteries and the 2100 is on that list. If the serial on your current battery matches one they have for replacement they will ship you a new one. I got a new batt for my friends dead laptop this way and sold it on ebay for a nice price. No guarentees but it's worth a shot.

 

Sadly, it does not qualify. Tried to validate it, and it said it wasn't one I could replace. Too bad, too, since this battery was dead on arival.
