WTB: Japanese Famicom

WTB: Japanese Famicom System + FDS

Hi-Ho!

I've been spending a lot of time with my nephew playing games on the Super Nintendo but never feeling quite challenged. I remembered my frustration with the Mega Man series as a kid on the NES so I thought I would put him through the same sensation.

I've always liked the aesthetics of the Japanese Famicom unit but I don't know the difference between the original model and the AV Famicom. If someone does mind telling me which they prefer and the reasons why I would appreciate that. :love2:

But enough rambling! Someone sell me a Famicom system complete with a control and wires. US Seller preferred. Send me offers through PM, please.

The newer one has AV support (can use normal Nintendo (SNES, N64, Gamecube) AV cables) and can use NES pads, but it looks horrible and like the US Top loader.

The older one needs to be modded to have AV support and has hard wired pads but looks nice

I might have a modded Famicom next week if you don't get any other offers.

 

Since I forgot to get back to Jamtex about the Famicom unit the last time this was bumped, I thought I would see if anyone had a Famicom with Disk unit available now.

Condition isn't too much of concern as long it's working with all cables and a controllers. I am also in search of Super Mario Bros. 2 and The Legend of Zelda for the FDS.
