    Preferably SCPH-10000.

  2. A few guys on the board might be able to help you, but I'd check out various import websites - there's the ubiquitous www.liksang.com, but if you're in the States there's also http://www.yesasia.com and http://www.ncsx.com.

Also, I'd advise against the 10000 model as it's A) pretty tough to come across, and B) suffers from the problems that most first-run consoles have before all the bugs are worked out.

I prefer 10000s and 15000s, there really aren't any problems with them. All that changes between each new revision is that the ASICs are condensed and combined to maximise money save-age.

Lik-Sang, etc. charge an insane amount for their import PS2s. I'm hoping someone is looking to sell their used one.

If you just want to play imports i suggest the same.

But since he asked for the first model (the one that does not have the expansion bay - instead it has a PCMCIA port) i think it's for collecting purposes.

Check out eBay regulary, shipping prices from HK would get insane anyway even if their PS2s would be cheaper.
