I just got an XRGB2+ and now I need to get some cables to replace my existing composite/s-video ones. I will need one for a Sigma Raijin supergun, as well as one for PS2 and one for Saturn.

Are 21-pin Japanese RGB cables for the Saturn and PS2 hard to come by? Should I invest in a SCART to JPN RGB adapter and then just buy Euro cables?

If any one has any of these cables (or a solution) please let me know. Thanks a lot.

I know the Saturn 21 pin RGB cables are a right bitch to find. I've lived here for 10 years and have only come across them a few times. I heard that you can't use a PAL RGB Saturn cable either since they are wired up differently at the 21pin end. Still, I guess you could always re-wire it.

Wow, I didn't know Saturn 21 pin rgb cables were that rare. I am in touch with Chaotic Jelly and he can rewire a euro Saturn cable to Japanese 21 pin for me as well as build a cable for my supergun

yes, he sure can. He did my Mega Drive 1 RGB cable. I was very lucky finding my Saturn one though. Got it from a junk used games store (love those places) It was under shit loads of crappy Famicom carts. It cost me 400 yen if I remember rightly.

SCART cables are a lot easier to find, although official cables are harder to mod due to circuit boards or crimping being used rather then wires being soldered onto the SCART end. It's easier to build a SCART > Japanese 21 Pin Convertor just requires a SCART socket and a SCART plug and some decent screened cable, should cost about $10 or less and take less then 15 minutes to make.

I actually have a Scart to Jap 21-pin adapter coming from chaotic jelly, as well as a cable for Saturn and the supergun. Thanks for the input guys, seems to be the best route.
