    I was the seller of that xbox and it is not a dev xbox, its a debug, as its listed. Also, it's not fake. I can and will post any pictures required to prove it either way.

    I might be listing another Katana soon - I have to make space for an incoming baby - but I am both indicisive and a hoarder so it makes it hard for me to list things I don't want to get rid.

    got response from the seller now .. says the power problem is with the pins inside the connector on gdrom

    Personally I would be careful with damaged katanas as there is a lot crammed into the case. I wouldn't want to touch soldering anything in there but then I don't have a steady hand.

    On the other hand, even if you consider the machine unfixable the extras he has bundled with it might make it worth a bid. At the very least you end up with some interesting looking GDR and some handy spare parts for when you do track down a working machine. :)
