WTB Modded (or Japanese) PS2

I just got Initial D Special Stage and it loads and then freezes on my PS2 Slim with a boot disc mod. If someone could hook me up with a Japanese PS2 I'd appreciate it! I'll take a modded one too if you can test if Initial D Special Stage works.

 

I got a modded slim if you'd like but the shell (casing) is in really poor shape but runs perfectly. If your PS2 is a SCPH-75001 black slim or compatible shell, just swap the casing and you'd have a really nice looking modded PS2. I can sell it to you shipped (4 Day Delivery + Tracking #) for $70 Canadian (About $65 USD) and If your interested, i can test the game ("Initial D Special Stage") if you want. I need to check what my model slim is, but I am interested if you can test Initial D. The game loads but once you try to get into a race it freezes.

 

Still looking for a FAT PS2 that has a fliptop mod or a modchip.

Yeah, Initial D apparently doesn't like modchips or ESR.

 

I have the first japanese PS2 model with a modchip. I am not selling it, but I can test the game for you (in case you are using a copy). Just need to know where to find this version of the game (Special Stage).

 

I have a couple of debug PS2s (that play any region PS2 game no problem) if you would want to go that route as well.

 

Initial D for the PS2 is just called "Initial D: Special Stage" since the arcade version is "Arcade stage" and every season is "1-6 stage". I'm using an authentic copy of the game, not a DVD-R.

If someone has a fat PS2 and can sell it to me in the US for very cheap, I'll take that since I can just get the magic slide -_-;
