I thought i would throw this out there and see what shows up. I'm looking to buy some N-Gage prototype and Not For Resale games. I find the platform rather interesting, it's like a case study of how not to break into the games industry. LMK what you have, we can discuss a price.

Super Monkey Ball pre-realese beta with not for resale writing. How much will you offer?

Well then what do you think is fair? I just threw a price down, i'm willing to negitiate.

Does this mean you're not willing to negotiate? I don't really know where to start an offer as i've never seen ngage betas for sale. I started an offer at 325% over retail but i'm certainly flexable on the price.

You said $10, guessing you meant $100. Or not.

To be honest, PA's offer sounds plenty fair. I've literally got a pile of N-Gage protos here. Nobody wants em. The collector market is pretty much non-existant unless you happen along a game that never shipped. I just keep em in a box hoping for the day when the system is dead and collecting for it becomes a fad. ;)

Hell, I want them, just gotta get me a working N-GAGE again.

lol, at what point would you consider the system dead?

And i seriously can't think of a single game, released or not, that could possibly cost $100. I could probably offer a more reasonable $25, but $100 is out of the question. Remember, these things only retail for $3.

As for the collecting market, i would assume it's going to turn into a game.com. You can pick up the complete game.com collection for $15 off of ebay.

And hl718, i want them... but i'm not sure that counts...

Holy shit, really? Not like I've been paying much attention, or particularly care, but that's one hell of a price drop.

Yeah, gamestop here sells 'em for $3. That's new, not used. I think the used ones are a penny.

    Here's a thread i put out: http://www.assemblergames.com/forums/showthread.php?t=8762

Basicly the market for these is non-exsistant. I just picked up a "prototype" QD for $55 off of ebay, auction finished about an hour ago. We'll see if it's really a proto when it shows up...

So going by ebay pricing, an N-Gage QD + a "Not for resale" game sells for $55. Assume the system goes for $35 of that, i guess a reasonable price on a NFS game would be $20 at most?

The higher price than I have paid for a N-Gage game was around 75 euro for the media kit pack for the press of Pathway to Glory, and that was because it included the beta game, original artwork, the soundtrack on CD, and a very nice DVD, all in a very nice too box. N-Gage media kit packs for games like Pathway to Glory or Chaos Theory are very cool.

Right now (I don't know in the future), the prices for N-Gage protos and NFR are low. I have NFR of Ashen, Asphalt or Colin McRae and their prices were between £5-15 each.

Ok, let's keep this civil please.

Mind you, $3 a game if real, I will gladly pay someone to get me a shitload of games for that price.

Let me work out my finances and find an N-GAGE that works for a decent price, and I will be in touch.

I think I paid $35 or so for my NFS Pocket Kingdoms. I thought it looked like one of the best games released so it should bring a premium. Just trying to help you figure out a guideline for prices.
