    Looking for a few items.

    Updated for specifics.

    -SGI INDY Workstation.
    R5000SC 512KB (1MB if it exists) 180MHZ
XL card for graphics (XL preffered)
At least 1GB of memory, if not, then 256MB or 128.
    1GB HD or 2GB.

-Working copy of IRIX for said workstation.

-Ultra64 development board + Joypad input board.

    -Required cables.

-Development software and SDK. (Anything relating to this)

-Anything else you feel like throwing in.

Needs to be in -DECENT- condition, but I'm sure it doesn't really matter, as anyone from here takes good care of their shit. :)

I honestly don't care what item from the above list you have, if you have it, and it's functional, I'll buy it. If noone has any of the items, I'll just close the thread and move onto some known dealers.

So yeah I think I'll just leave this here...

    *lurk*

Are you sure the ultra64 dev board works in an r5k indy ?

I have no reason to think they don't, but I am fairly certain no n64 dev systems were built with r5k indy systems - they used the earlier r4k systems. Again, it seems to me it should work just fine, and I'd like to do it myself, but ... it's worth making sure.

Just as a curiosity, who would be the known dealers for n64 development hardware?

    Cheers,

AFAIK, the Indy can't take more than 128MB. Last I checked (which was quite a while back), you could go on SGI's website and dlownload Irix, have to be careful of which version you get as the N64 dev board will only work up to a certain version of Irix.

Wasn't this setup just a very early dev setup before Ninty released more final dev kits?

yes. The cheaper/simpler devkit consisted of a modified N64 by KMC (KMC sticker, no engravings) and a set of special Partner cartridges that interfaced with a host PC.

In all honesty, if you could get ahold of the Nintendo 64 SDK *cough*downloads*cough* and the Partner-N64 software, you'll have a perfectly working development environment, then you could just as easily use a flash-cart to test stuff as that whole setup there. If you want it for the novelty however, I wish you luck, I'll be putting in a WTB in the next few months for a Partner-N64 kit if the economy agrees.
