    bumping way :D

Seriously saying amoung all HW stuff here - docs and deep tech docs
( like GDC info/video or just recent but good to show - publicaly available http://www.insomniacgames.com/tech/techpage.php info )
are quite rare , I would also prefer to change this in the way to have more info traded/shared etc.

The ucode (aka the code that the RCP runs) is a subcode of the R4000.
A RCP-compiler however isnt available in the standard kit...but being it a R4000 its compatible with the MIPS-IV (III?) standard so any mips compiler will do the job too.

As for the registers, well, thats what should be in those (in)famous docs!
Have a look over at dextrose, they have plenty of stuff.

What exactly is 3rd party docs?

Almost all the hardware is 1st party. Unless you mean Yobo and Pelican? So are you looking for software docs? I have some of that or you looking for something else? Very confused as to what you want.

p.s. that footer is TOO big its bigger than most of your posts.

Just RE from retail, it's free and legal and it's the best shot you have.

Not only that. I have a fragment of documentation that comes directly from SGI and which covers information not present in the standard toolkit documentation.

The timeline of this post might answer my question, but are development docs hard to come by?
