If anyone is selling / offering N64 modding, I would like to purchase that service.

I am using XRGB3 devices and would like a RGB modded US nintendo 64 to connect properly, via 21-pin connector (SCART ? Or japanese SCART ? I forget...) and give me the best possible picture output I can get ...

As long as we're in there mucking around, we might as well do the KMC mod, yes ? But we can discuss the details via PM.

    Thanks!

I've got several RGB modded N64s available.

How do they work relative to a XRGB3 scaler ? I currently have a rgb-modded n64, but it does not work with the xrgb3 because a different type of rgb mod was needed...

Huh? I thought the only difference is xrgb uses Japanese RGB input, so any SCART cables will not work.

Probably a matter of rewiring your SCART cable.

If I remember correctly the XRGB likes CSYNC best.
When I had an XRGB the very same RGB N64 produced a black image with the original GC RGB cable and a wonderfull image with the following cable:

You will still need a JAP SCART TO EUR SCART adapter between your XRGB and the RGB cable.

The European SCART cable I purchased doesn't have a connection to the C-SYNC pin at all. Thankfully my Sony PVMs don't really seem to care about getting composite video for sync but it would be trivial to wire in a sync stripper to clean it up for sync usage.
