    I am looking for a PAL version of the Tri-Star 64 for my beloved Nintendo 64.

    I know that there are two versions around (both NTSC), but as the device was
    manufactured in Hong Kong, there may also be a PAL version...

    £100.00 for a boxed system
    £80.00 for Tri-Star 64 only

    There is one on yahoo japan auctions,I really dont think there is a pal version.

    Unfortunately my TV doesn´t support NTSC :(
    That´s why a need a PAL version Tri-Star 64...

    Ell I remember those or something like it but you was able to backup games on your Thing a ma jig there and play all Region games with no problems. It's cost $99 back then.

    That's a totally different device you're thinking of. The Tristar 64 lets you play SNES and NES games on your N64. Backup units (there were many) allow you to play ROMs.

    Found a cheap NTSC Tristar :)

    Therefore I am not looking for an expensive PAL version any more...

    It is said, that a Hong Kong modified version with included PAL booster exists!
    Unfortunately I never came across one of these modified units :(
