    Are there any members willing to help me order some items off Yahoo Japan Auctions? I would be willing to paypal the money upfront (to a trusted, well established member) and compensate whoever helps me.

    Has anyone done business with Otaku-Ya? He has great rates, but only accepts friends of existing customers right now.

    Just in case you need another option, I've dealt with Celga a number of times and found them to be very good.

    Thanks for the suggestions. I have decided to go with Celga as they are they have the most reasonable rates I have found. I will let everyone know how it goes when my order arrives.

    http://www.rinkya.com/ is another site.
    Or you could browse Yahoo Japan Auctions through a translation site like babelfish.

    I have to warn you about something though;
    With Yahoo Japan Auction system, if you place your bid 5 minutes before the bid is over, it would be automatically extended for another 5 minutes. So, ideally its best to please your bids about 6 minutes before the bid is over. If there is a not a single bid placed on an item, and if you place your bid bid at the last few moment, the time is usually not extended. Seller can turn this option on/off.
