    I'm looking for a NES or a clone (Retro Entertainment System, Retro-Duo, etc) for about $20.
    I only need the console and the controllers, the hook-up cables are not needed.

    Are you aware of the sound differences on some of the clones? Intro to Final Fantasy 1 for example is butchered.

    Yes, I am aware. They are fixes and mods for the sound (example: the Retro Entertainment System needs a 1k resistor on the audio connections in the system) and for other common problems.

    The only reason that I am here is because my local gaming store sells Famiclones (Polystation and other crappy systems), and the quality of them is not even close to be good, and they doesn't have 72-pin connectors (a 72-to-60 pin adapter is more expensive than the clone itself).

    Not quite as what I am looking for, well, mostly because there are very common flaws on the system, that other clones doesn't have.
    Sadly, I didn't find any sound fixes for it, but there are some people that maybe can help you, like Satoshi Matrix's channel.
