    If you can't find one then it is reasonably easy to convert a cheap 850ma multivoltage PSU to work on the NES providing you have a soldering iron (and tools to open the PSU up). I bought a load of these on ebay a while back for about a fiver each and converted 3 of them for the NES

    Some people will say that a 9V DC PSU will work and indeed it would but it will give you some noise and as it is working two diodes very hard inside the NES it is not very good for it. I got DC PSUs with a few US NES units I bought so I had to replace them.

    Maplins do sell a PSU that does work

    Which is 16 quid and will work on the NES (and SNES) well.
