WTB - Nintendo 64 Backupt Unit

Hi , I'm looking for a backup unit for my PAL N64 ...

How much it will cost ? thank you ;-)

 

Which backup unit? There are a handful you can get. If you're able to give me a preference I could show you where you could find one.

The one in my Avatar is the Doctor v64. You can get one for around the $300 bundled with a N64. The one that can run the most games would be the Doctor v64 Jr. But doesn't have a front loading bay. Instead you must use a PC in order to use it.

If you want, you can get a NEO Myth flashcart.

As far as backup units go, my favourite options would be a V64, CD64 or a Z64.

You can buy a V64 or a CD64 from GameDoctorHK.

I found some v64 and cd64 on Gamedoctorhk , but these unit are bundled with a n64 ... do you know if anybody sell only it ?
Do u know where I also can find a z64 ? is this cheaper ?

Just sit tight and wait cause the a couple new n64 flash carts are about to be out , like the everdrive 64 made by krikzz ,everything he makes couldn't be more simplistic to use just put the sd card in your computer and copy and paste the roms on to the sd card and the everdrive will do the rest .

Though with the everdrives you may want to make a folder to keep stuff organized

also marshall is making a 64drive flash cart , both of these cart will allow you to play pal game on and ntsc n64 .

they will be more compatible than the z64, doctror v64,or cd64 .
and will cost less the everdrive 64 will probably cost $140 no more , if it is that high.

 

WOOOW , I've just figure out what is a N64 NEO Myth Cart , and it is sooo cool !!
I think I'll buy a Flash card instad of that old backup units !!!

I read a review about N64 NEO Myth Cart , it seem a very good piece of hardware ... what is the difference between this and 64drive and the everdrive64 ?

Takeshi's right. Unless you've got a specific reason for wanting an older backup unit, you'd be much, much better off waiting a week or so and getting an Everdrive 64 or a little longer for marshallh's 64Drive.

The Neo Myth cart is expensive and the software for it is crap.

 

I'm reading the first looks of both everdrive64 and 64drive ...

I think that 64drive is the best and have also a good look I think that I'll wait for this cart !

Exactly right, I bought mine cause I wanted it for my collection really.

If you want something to play images off, just get a everdrive
