WTB Nintendo DS Lite Motherboard, preferably UK

Hi people,

I'm in need of buying a Nintendo DS lite motherboard, i have one here thats packed in and doesn't power on at all or show any signs of life.

I'd prefer to buy within the UK as it'll cost less in postage, and better yet be the right region!

Excellent if yours has had a smash in and the screens are broken or something along those lines..

Don't really know what this is worth, but as a new DS isn't exactlly an arm and a leg to buy new i don't want to spend loads of cash (not that i have loads of cash to spend anyway :crying

I'd consider other versions aswell such as the US etc, i assume i could flash the firmware to a Uk type and all the games would work just the same? or do UK games (probably not) work in the US DS lites?

Really? I never knew that, so i guess either a UK version or US board for the DS Lite would be good.

no worries, i only found a couple of weeks ago, very usefully if you decide to import games as its a hell of a lot cheaper, and in my case kept my son happy buying him pokemon diamond from the u.s. months before its out over here

as for the mainboard, ill check with a few of my gameshop contacts, they may have traded in 1 for cheap

 

Thanks mate, its deffinatly a handy bit of information to know, i had no idea before hand.

If you do happen to find one for sale then please do let me know, i could do with one as soon as possible really as i'm on holiday shortly so need to try and sort this out before i go away.

I don't really want to pay too much though, as obviously a whole new DS isn't very expensive, i'd just rather try and fix this the cheaper way.
