    Unless you're programming or have unburned code the motivation seems a bit ... dubious?

    Well, ideally I just want to burn 1 or 2 boot discs so I can run my own code on the NR reader without opening the console up to solder a modchip (mainly to dump the ipl/drive fw/have a poke around).

    If someone could burn me a copy of a homebrew loader which I have written onto a nr disc instead, I'd be happy to pay for that service too.

    I might be able to help you out, I have a writer and a stack of scratched empty NR's. I didn't fire up the writer yet though and I need to polish the discs before I can burn them. If you're in a hurry you might be better off finding someone else, if you have the time I'd gladly help out.

    Doh, I have a writer and a couple of NR blank discs in storage but I'm guessing the postage from the UK will just be crazy...
