WTB: NTSC N64 and 64DD games

Hi guys,

It´s time for my 64DD to do something different than looking cool under my PAL N64! I´m looking for a JPN or US N64 with expansion pack (preferebly JPN) and I´d like some more 64DD games except Sim City and Mario Artist Polygon Studio. Also looking for a loose 64DD box.

Please let me know if you´ve got any of this stuff laying around and you wanna get rid of it.

I have a gold-coloured Japanese N64 with two equally gold controllers :033:
No crappy spraypaint job, it was actually released this way. I don't know how rare it is, I just keep it around as a showpiece

As far as I know those units were only sold boxless at the TGS (I may be mistaken but that is where mine is from) which would make those very rare. In fact I have yet to find any golden n64 on yahoo auction.
As for the american one it was sold as a limited edition in toys'r us, it is rare but far less than the Japanese version. I am not aware of any existing gold PAL N64 thought but they still may exist. As far as I know the Japanese gold N64 is by far the rarest of all model (more rare than the smoke black N64 sold with the DD)

 

Gold N64's were released at Toys R' Us stores in the US. They were complete with matching boxs and controllers. As far as NTSC-J Gold N64's go through, I dont have a clue.

 

The Japanese one was supplied with one gold controller but I think those can be purchased separately (I am not sure though)

As far as I know the Japanese model is easely worth $200 considering how rare it is. Too bad they only came boxless in Japan, it was a special sale occuring at the TGS back then, as far as I know it was not sold elsewhere.
