WTB: Official Dreamcast Broadband Adapter (Black)

Hey AG people,

I need one of the black dreamcast broadband adapters to complete one of my personal projects. I don't want to spend more then $200 for this item and obviously the cheaper the better.

Please send me some offers if you have one! Or if you know where to get one that would be helpful as well. I don't care if it is boxed or if it has any included manuals.

EDIT: No Longer searching, found some!!

 

There was a boxed one listed on Ebay that ended last week for $160 that got no bids. So you could contact the seller about that.

 

Tried that, haven't heard back yet from them but hopefully I will. I tried buying it elsewhere for cheaper but once the order was paced i the shop said it was out of stock and the auction had ended already. I have terrible timing!

 

I simply put a white one in a sega sports shell and it looks great and best of all was cheap. I only paid $125 for the BBA and had a couple black shells laying around. Once my LAN adapter arrives i plan on doing the same thing as you only have to widen it just slightly. Then use a hair dryer to transplant the MAC address sticker to make it look official.

 

Maybe for my next project i'll make my own but for this one it consists of all official made sega products with zero alterations.

took me good part of 5-6 years before I found my copy mint in the clean box with everything.
I wanted the black BBA to go with my R7 set.

 

That's quite a while, hopefully it won't be that long but I won't stop loooking until I do find one.

can anyone see the model# on the BBA?
The description refers it as Broadband LAN adapter but AFAIK there was Broadband adapter and then there was LAN adapter - HIT-0400 and HIT-0300 respectively. Haven't heard BBA called Broadband LAN adapter? It's usually BBA or LAN adapter?

maybe good idea to ask the seller to provide the model number of this adapter's label?

I think the odds of there being a black LAN adapter are very slim. Afaik there were limited LAN adapters in the first place so an official black one would make it even more rare!

It has a MAC address sticker on it so it is 100% the BBA and not be the LAN adapter. Only the BBA has a MAC address sticker, that and it comes with a Broadband passport not a LAN passport.

 

Ok, found what I wanted. Actually found two of them complete with boxes, manuals and dics. I'm happy now!
