    Just looking for that. Bought Perfect Dark for my brother's N64 and they do not have the expansion necessary to fully play PD, as well as some other games that support it.

    Aww, noob tries to teach one of the most established members (point for noob: note post count and ASSEMbler Extreme tag) about an auction site called eBay!

    Assume that people know of said website around here already ;-)

    Hate to say it, but he does have a point! They're $10-15 on eBay, shipped. That's a good price! They're pretty scarce now.

    The third party ones were crap. I had a Datel one. It wasn't like the official one - it REPLACED the cover (you had this big red bit of plastic sticking out the top of your console). And it overheated. So I took it back. The replacement overheated. Took it back. The salesman said oh that's strange - we've only had 3 back and we've sold 30! So I e-mailed Datel. They told me there's nothing wrong with theirs... in fact, they tested several of theirs and they were fine, but they tested an official Nintendo one and that crashed!!

    In the end, I had to take the top off my N64 and point a fan at the heatsink to get it to stay stable!

    I eventually picked up an official one for £15 (half price). No problems since.

    AVOID third party ones!

    I was about to suggest going to the official Nintendo store, but it turns out they don't have it in stock any more. As late as October 2007 they did, so now I'm curious to know when they ran out.

    While it's on my mind? Don't buy replacement manuals from Nintendo directly. They'll charge you ten bucks to send you a photocopy. In case you were wondering how they can have NES Zelda manuals in stock still.

    I don't know if this will help, but I've been using a MadCatz 3rd party memory expansion for... something like 10 years now. There hasn't been even a hint of heat problems or malfunction.
