WTB: (or help to buy one) Triforce

The posted triforce pictures (in the Nintendo-Section) made me very interesting in getting&hacking one. Some time ago I found a link where they were for sale, but I've lost the link .

So, I'm searching for a triforce. It needs to boot, but it doesn't matter which game it is (for now). I expect a sub-$1000 price - but if there is a good reason why it costs more, I'll listen.

The reason I want to get this system is because I want to understand the system, possibly find a way to decrypt/dump the games, and to understand what would be missing to emulate those dumps on a gamecube or wii system. Of course I cannot make any promises, but from what i've seen so far, it should be possible. Also my plan is to publish everything I found out.

I would also be interested in people helping me to acquire a system (sure, I would pay for this if somebody arranges it for me). I don't speak japanese, and I have absolutely no experience in buying stuff on gray markets there.

 

They appear on Yahoo Japan relatively frequently. I've seen several in various states of completion.

The two triforce systems (virtual striker 2002 vs. 4) look different. Does anybody knows about those differences?

 

I think one just doesn't have the protective top blue cover shown in the picture.
