I have PDF files, however I hate reading through them especially when I am tired. Does anyone have a spare / usused set of original manuals for the PS2 Tool? Clearly, I'll need them in English not Japanese :)

    Let me know ;-)

Several hundred pages worth would be okay if I could be A) arsed and B) wouldn't go through atleast 1 ink cart doing it, and C) left with a pile of pages to bind, staple, collate etc.

That is a last resort. :eek:h:

If you take the pdf to a local printers, they might cut you a deal for cheap. Probably less than the shipping alone would be on bulky manuals.

If you want them just for reference, I'd recommend the printers like Alchy said. Shipping the originals could be expensive. Apart from that they're quite hard to get hold of, but you see them on ebay every now and again. Not a full set mind.

Thanks everyone re printers. I'll check that option, however the printing firms I know of in town wouldn't be cheap. My brother and I have asked for various material for his business in the past and never really been all that happy with the results when costs were low.

If anyone does come up with a set (or even individual manuals) let me know.

    ;-)

Here I was thinking the small paper in the box, you mean the whole
    dev "book" set lol!

    Printing would suck...

Usually it's one per dev, no one really likes the paper docs.

My fancy HP 2600n will churn out about 1.7k pages per toner cart at ~$40 for black and ~60 for color.

Course the printer ran us a nice $400, can easily say it's my favorite purchase ever.

Yeah, the full set, hence printing it all off being the last option lol

It's quite a bundle of manuals and I realise most people would be wanting to hold onto them, but you never know.

For reference, there's 8 for you to collect (sounds like a kid club's meal).

I've seen a deep blue / black set which I think Lherre was selling with his Tool a while ago, but they were in Japanese :-(

They're version numbers. The first editions were black. As new versions are released they change numbers and colour.

The green are 6th edition and I got them in 2005.

I just bought a set for £5 (yep, a great price!) - black and in English. If you had another spare set then let me know. If I got the 1st unit working, complete etc then I might just keep it. At the moment it just seems silly to have two and spend money on it rather than the other.
