    I have a working Philips drive, but the laser is dead. Still powers up and tray is good.
    Not sure if you're looking for one that works 100%. Let me know anyway :)

    I have a Samsung SG-605 that was working but couldn't read certain disks including original games. I tried adjusting the laser pots and now it won't read anything. You can have it for shipping if you like and maybe someone with a little more know how can get it adjusted to read again. I'm replacing it with a Samsung SD-616T. You might try getting one of those and doing the little bit of soldering and flashing it needs to read all disk media including original game disks. They also read faster. DVD is up to 16X versus around 5X for original SG-605 drives. Loads games faster and will be a bit more reliable.
