Wtb - Original xbox

Hi all, I'm after an Xbox that I can tsop flash, ideally a 1.1 motherboard but would consider anything else. Not sure whats available out there but if it happens to be a crystal Xbox then even better.

Let me know what you have. If its been tsop flashed already or has any extras like a modchip then let me know! I'm based in the UK. Cheers

 

I have a 1.1 that's already TSOP'd with green LED controller ports and ROL. I'm in Australia though, so shipping might be quite a bit.

 

Thanks for the offer, you're right, a quick check suggests postage is over 70 AUD - I'm hoping I can pick one up a bit cheaper overall.

 

Probably more around $70 by sea. I could try and see with couriers but I can see it breaking your budget. If you have thrift stores locally, try and look for systems with a yellow warning label compared to the orange on the later units. This will (most likely) tell you it's a 1.0/1.1 board inside.

Loads on eBay including a crystal one and a coinops one. All models are tsop flash able. Where are u based in UK?

Yeah just check EBay, some are already tsop flashed or soft modded. Easy to flash with Hexen xbox disc. If u need a box tsop flashed or soft modded, give me a shout.

 

I have a Crystal and it's a 1.6, I think the Crystals are 1.5/1.6 so be careful what you get. If you look on ebay, try and get the serial number, or at least the part of it you need for version checking. Not the most accurate way to check the version, but at least you will have a rough idea. Certainly enough to know if it's likely to be a 1.6 or not!!

Not sure on your knowledge on Xbox flashing, but don't do what I did and flash non-TSOP compatible images, otherwise you're gunna need a modchip.

 

Only crystal consoles that are 1.2 are High Performance Pack consoles.
