    I can have a word with my friend - he has just finished his complete PAL collection and amassed a few consoles - including one I still have to fix for him that's sitting downstairs! Oops!

    Shipping from the UK might kill it, though. Still, you want just the console, no leads, controllers etc? He actually has one where the modem is missing from its shell, or he did when I last looked. Cuts a few grams off ;)

    sorry to jump on this but @retro, I could do with a DC that works fully, on mine the plastic of the video out is damaged so has issues holding colours on vga out :( What sort of money is your friend after? UK shipping included.
