I'm looking for a copy of Panzer Dragoon Saga for the Saturn. I'd rather try and get it from here first, rather than Ebay. If anyone has one in mint-near mint condition they wanna sell, please let me know. Thanks!

Good Luck. You'll be Spending $150 or above for a good copy.

  3. I think this is one of those, "I know damn well the price of the stupid thing, I'm just trying to find someplace to get it" times. I'm sure he knows the relative rarity of the game and the commanding price it changes hands for, and probably would have asked if he didn't.

Sorry, just a little pet peeve, when I ask about a rare game, I'd rather people tell me places where I can start looking for it instead of saying, "Oh man, that's so rare, you're going to spend $XXX on it!" as if I didn't know. Just a few comments, back to the regularly scheduled search for the elusive. :smt023

I think Ebay is your only bet... although you might get extremely lucky at flea markets (happened before with Trigga007 if I'm not mistaken, he got the game for 2 pounds), Ebay is probably cheaper than any store that stocks it (there's a store in Antwerp that has a complete copy for 170e!)

    I passed on a second-hand copy for £17.99 in late 1998.

    It still hurts today. :smt022

Perhpas the best way would be to buy a modded Saturn - easily obtainable under $100 or if you have the know-how just do it yourself - and play PDS on backup. The only affordable and realistic way to play all the Saturn greats, really.

    that's bit extreme me think...
modding yourself is more of luck than anything else and buying pre-mod Saturn would cost about the same if not more than PDS anyway... :p

i have nothing against the backup - heck I even rip and burn CD-R backup of some of my title when I take with me to mate's place. can't trust those bastards :D - but think there's certain charm with the complete package...

now if I could somehow put the image of disc into Mirage and load from it instead of popping in disc that would real nice - like Xbox with titles saved into its HDD.

    cheers

Not really. As i mentioned it not only gives him access to PDS but to every other otherwise near-unobtainable Saturn title out there. Also no messing about with stupid import carts, just adjust the region before burning. :smt023

    mate
i know what you are getting.
I've done that once just to see how it's done - same goes for DVD ripping as I've done it once as well - but that was something I wouldn't bother with again. Too cumbersome and time waste me think... to each own but personally I'd buy the dame game and play regardless how much it will cost...

I paid over $100 for Hyper Duel and close to $100 for PDS PAL and not regretting for second...

    just my 5c really.
    cheers
